Mo's Challenge #158

Cute and Cuddly!

I'm late posting my blog this week! I've not been feeling well, as my arthritis has acted up making it hard to do much of anything with my hands.
I find myself feeling a bit better now....at least I'm able to type!

This little girl is so adorable!  My husband and I loved nothing better about parenting than cuddling up with our freshly-bathed, pajama-clad  little ones and reading them a story before bedtime.

Inside: "Time to retire? Enjoy every minute. You've earned it!"

Tools: Copics, Cuttlebug with Nesties ovals, MS Leaf and Lace border  punch, Nellie Snellen embossing tool, Dauber, SU! blue ink pad

Papers: SU! Orange, Daffodil, and Green, Neenah white, Basic Grey DP

Embellishments: Grosgrain ribbon, Brads, Prime daisies, Bead, Flower charm

We'd love to have you make something using one of Mo's images and enter this week's Cute and Cuddly Mo's Challenge for a chance to win a $5.00 gift certificate!

Thanks for stopping by!

Mo's Challenge #157

Autumn Fun!

Fall is my favorite time of year! I love the cool, crisp air and the beautiful fall foliage.
Picking apples, and carving pumpkins are just part of the fun of the season!
"Autumn Fun" is this week's theme for Mo's Challenge.

This little girl is saying goodbye to a little robin that's heading south for the winter.
The little maple leaves were made with a punch then embossed using the Nellie Snellen rose leaf
embossing tool. I've found it can be used to give realistic veining to many styles and sizes of punched leaves. I ran the piece of light-weight cardboard though a paper crimper several times in both directions to achieve the texture

Mo's Challenge #156

'B' is for.........

Mo's Challenge this week is anything that begins with 'B', so it's pretty much
wide open to interpretation!
I've chosen 'Birthday' as the theme for my card.

I just love this image! It's cute and so much fun to color!
I found a pink button in my stash that reminds me of  frosting on a cupcake, so I had to use it along with some scraps of Basic Grey DP! I think the card looks like a confection with all the pastels and frill!

Mo's Challenge #155

Anything Goes With Mo's

That's Mo's Challenge this week! So easy...I love it!

I used the opportunity to make a masculine card. My husband needed a 'thank you' card for a friend whose hospitality he enjoyed on a trip to New York State with his brother recently.
I paper-pieced the recliner. I love doing that, but don't often think of  it when I'm printing out my images. It's much easier to print the DP at the same time so that you don't have to guess what size the image is!

Inside: "Thanks for making me feel right at home!"

Images: "King for the Day" from Mo's Digital Pencil, Digital sentiment from TLC

Tools: Copics, MS Border punch, Glue dots

Papers: SU! Curry, Cocoa, and Olive CS, Neenah white, Paper Studio DP

Embellishments: Twine, Buttons

I've had this image colored for some time now, and just got around to making a card with it.
The little diamonds across the bottom are the negative pieces from a lattice die. That's proof that I save everything!

Images: "A, My Name is Alice" from Mo's Digital Pencil, Digital sentiment

Tools: Copics, Lattice die from Cheery Lynn, MS Butterfly and Hydrangea punches, SU! Oval punches, Tacky Tape

Papers: SU! Red, Pink, and Bashful Blue, Neenah white, SU! DP (Very old!)

Embellishments: Tiny pearl cabochons

I was in a red, white, and blue mood!

Well, that's it for this week! I hope you'll make something wonderful using an image from Mo and enter the challenge for a chance to win a $5.00 gift certificate from her shop!
