Mo's Challenge #178

Alphabet Challenge, E is for........!

Mo's Challenge this week is to come up with a card or project using a theme that
starts with "E" and one of her cute images!
Our Design Team has plenty of wonderful ideas to inspire you if you
can't come up with anything. If all else fails, you can just open up the dictionary!

I've used "Jojo" on my card, and the "E" is for entertainment!
I love bright colors, and this certainly is bright!

Inside: "Here's your ticket to a fun-filled day! Happy Birthday!"

Images: "Jojo" from Mo's Digital Pencil, Digital birthday ticket

Tools: Copics, White gel pen, Dimensional dots

Here's another card with a circus theme!

This time I've used the same DP and papers with an image from Sassy Cheryl called "Mama's Little Clown"
I think this image is on sale for $1.00 this week.

I'm always glad when you stop by!

Mo's Challenge #177

For the Women in Our Lives

That's the theme for Mo's Challenge this week. What would we do without the
other females in our lives? I love men, but women need women to bare our soles to.

This card uses one of Mo's expectant mothers. She also has an African American version which is equally wonderful!

Tools: Copics, MS Lace border punch, Nellie Snellen Embossing leaf punch set, Tacky Tape

Papers: SU! Teal and Caribbean, Neenah white, Digital DP

Embellishments: Satin Ribbon, Flower charm, Beads, Pearl cabochons, Flowers

Join us this week in Mo's Challenge for a chance to win a $5.00 gift certificate

Glad you stopped in!

Mo's Challenge #176

Ribbons and Pearls

This was an easy challenge for me....I use ribbons and pearls on most of my cards!

Don't you just love this image?! I think it's just perfect for a Get Well card.
For the past few weeks I've felt very much like this poor bear! I spent the week of February school vacation in bed coughing and sneezing, hacking and wheezing! I'm just now starting to feel human again!
This card gave me fits while I was making it! The robe is paper-pieced, and when gluing it, I got glue on the card stock which made it necessary to cut out the image. I then had the bright idea to cut out the sentiment, too! It was a real pain, but I really think that the botch-up turned into a really cute card. The flowers were made with leftovers from other projects.
Images: Beary Sick f from Mo's Digital Pencil (The sentiment is included!)

Tools: Copics, Xacto knife, MS Lace border punch, Assorted flower and leaf punches,
Mounting tape, Glue dots

Papers: SU! Celery and Turquoise, Neenah white, SU! DP

Embellishments: Ribbon, Tiny pearl cabochons
