Mo's Challenge #145

Those of you who've visited before may notice the new look! I've had to start a new blog due to a glitch that caused me to lose  access to my original one. I hope my followers will find me again!

Who Let the Dogs Out?

We did, of course! Mo's Challenge this week is "In the Dog House" so we'd like to see your dog-related cards or projects.

I've used "Guilty Rocco" on my card. I don't know what he's done, but he certainly looks contrite about it! I didn't have any doggy embellishments, so I decided to make some. I used an actual stamp to make the hydrants...that's something I haven't done in ages! The stamped images were colored, then covered in Versa Mark and clear embossing powder to make them shine.
I made the dog collar by cutting a strip of CS wide enough to fit through the SU! ribbon buckle, put it through a paper crimper, added eyelets (That's another thing I haven't used for a long time!) and attached it to the card with tacky tape.
I love to recycle, so the brown paper that the DP is mounted on is actually a piece of cardboard that was used in a box to separate cans of cat food. I liked the color and texture. I hope Rocco doesn't mind that it's from a cat food container!

Images: "Guilty Rocco" from Mo's Digital Pencil, Hydrant from The Doodle Factory, Computer-generated sentiment

Tools: Copics, Prismacolor pencil, Fine black marker, Mounting tape, tacky Tape, Paper Crimper, Versa Mark, Clear embossing powder, Heat gun

Papers: CS from SU! Neenah, Basic Grey DP, Lightweight cardboard

Embellishments: Eyelets, Ribbon Buckle

Hope you have fun with the challenge this week!

Thanks for dropping by!
Elaine

P.S. Your old blog is still out there somewhere cause I got this post for it on my Google Reader. Maybe Blogger can help you merge the two together.
