Mo's Challenge #207

They Call Me Mellow Yellow!

This week Kim is our hostess for Mo's Challenge. She asked us to make a card or project using Mo's favorite color, which happens to be yellow...a bright and sunny color for a girl with a sunny disposition!

Unfortunately, this little she-bear isn't too bright or sunny! She's not feeling 'beary' well at all!
Her bathrobe is paper-pieced, but the gingham pattern doesn't show up very well.

Tools: Copics, Cuttlebug with Scalloped oval die, Circle punches, MS Hydrangea punch, Xacto knife, Glue dots, Mounting tape

Papers: SU! Daffodil and Summer Sun, Neenah white, PTI white, DP

Embellishments: Satin ribbon, Yellow Gingham ribbon, Tiny pearl cabochons

What great yellow theme going on here Elaine, great colouring and love all the little flowers.
I struggled to find even a piecd of yellow paper...lol

Oh Elaine, I love the little flowers you added around the edge of this image, what a fantastic idea! Love all of the yellow too, this card just makes me grin!

My Cards

I make all my cards 5" x 7 "...it's the size my customers like, and I have plenty of space to create! You may notice that my cards, for the most part, aren't overly elaborate. I love the fancy look, but since I sell most of mine, I try to keep them flatter for ease of mailing
I use SU! card stock almost exclusively. They have changed and added so many colors over the years, and I have so many of their colors that are no longer available, that it doesn't make sense for me to attempt to name them any longer. If you really want to know what a certain color is, just ask, and I'll try to figure out which one it is.
Also, all the white card stock I use to print my images on is Neenah Smooth White. I love using it with Copics! It does bleed through, but, since I mount all my card fronts, that's not a problem.

I use Paper Trey Ink's white card stock for all of my white card bases. It's very sturdy.
