Mo's Challenge #225

Lots of Embellishments!

Our hostess for Mo's Challenge this week is Amanda, who has asked that we use lots of embellishments on our cards and projects. This is one that's difficult for me...I am embellishment challenged for sure! I envy those who can pile on all sorts of do-dads and still have it look phenomenal! When I attempt it, the result looks as if my stash caught a stomach bug and tossed its cookies all over my work!

This card has a lot of embellishments...at least by my standards! A paint chip, rhinestones, pearls,
beads, glass leaves, die-cuts, punched elements, and a satin bow....and you can still see that sweet image!

Tools:  Copics, White gel pen, Cuttlebug with Memory Box vine die, Heart punches,

Papers: SU! Garden Green and Wild Wasabi, Neenah white, Gingham DP

Embellishments: Paint chip, Rhinestones, Pearl cabochons, Beads, Glass leaves, Satin ribbon

Empty out your stash on a card or project using at least one of Mo's fabulous images, and join us in Mo's Challenge for a chance to win a $5.00 gift certificate to Mo's Digital Pencil Too!

It's always fun to hear from you!

Mo's Challenge #223

Favorite Color Combination

That's Mo's Challenge this week at the request of our talented team member and hostess, Nela.
It will be fun to see everyone's favorite colors!

Turquoise and yellow is only one of my favored combos. I'd be hard-pressed to come up with just one, with so many beautiful colors to chose from!

I had so much fun making this card! This little girl was a joy to color, as are all of  Mo's wonderful images! I also enjoy doing the dot technique to highlight images, and love the fresh look of white daisies! These are so easy to create, too.

Mo's Challenge #222

Add a Ribbon

So easy to do! Mo's Challenge this week is to add a ribbon, as requested by our talented hostess, Franz .
Most cards that I make have ribbon, so it's not really a challenge for me, and I'd bet it won't be for you, either!

This adorable image was used on a Valentine's Day card, but could certainly be used for other occasions. I love using strawberries on Valentines because they remind me of hearts.

Inside: " My love for you grows every day!"

Tools: Copics, White gel pen, Cuttlebug with circle die, MS Grass, Fence, and Heart Border punches, Memory Box hanging heart die, Mounting tape, Glue dots

Papers: SU! Red, and Wasabi, Digital DP

Embellishments: Ribbons, Doily, Pearl cabochons

What beautiful ribbons do you have in your stash? Make a card  or project using at least one of Mo's fantastic images and be sure to add some ribbon! Enter it in Mo's Challenge for a chance to win a $5.00 gift certificate to Mo's Digital Pencil Too!

See you there!
