Mo's Challenge #169

 Valentine Boxes

I made these boxes for our granddaughter to give to her classmates on Valentine's Day.
They measure 2 1/2" square and are 1 1/4" deep...just big enough to hold a few candy treats!
They are fairly easy to make, but time-consuming when making 17 of them!
I punched out the different elements, and she decorated them herself.
The directions for the box are here, but I used a 7" square for the top and 6 3/4" square for the bottom of the box.

Paper: Recollections DP

Tools: MS Bird and Heart punches, McGill Envelope punch, Tiny heart punch

Embellishments: Roses from Wild Orchid

 Embossing....Wet or Dry!

Mo's Challenge this week is to make a card or project using
one of Mo's fabulous images and embossing using either the wet or dry technique.
I've chosen to use dry embossing on this card.

I love this image and can't believe I haven't used it before!
The little matching origami box  is one of several I'm making for
our granddaughter to giveto her classmates on Valentine's Day.
They will have a few little treats inside.

This is another view which shows a bit of the shine from the Spica pen I used
to highlight her boa and tiara.

Inside: "Wishing you the best of everything on your special day!"

Images: "Diva" from Mo's Digital Pencil, Computer-generated sentiment

Tools: Copics, White gel pen, Spica pens, MS Lace border punch, Cuttlebug with
embossing folder, Mounting tape

Papers: SU! Mambo Melon &Turquoise, Recollections DP, Neenah white,
 PTI white (card base)

Embellishments: Grosgrain ribbon, Prima flowers, White mini brads

I hope you'll join us in Mo's Challenge this week for a chance to win a $5.00 gift certificate to Mo's Store. She has so many great new images for you!

I always love it when you stop in!
