Pretty Pastel Palette
I hope you all had fun with our combined blog hop last week! It certainly was a joy
creating with Mo's new images!
Franz is our hostess for Mo's Challenge this week, and she wants us to use
pastel hues on our projects.
I always have a hard time using the paler colors...I tend to go for bright and bold when I color.
With that said, here is my card for this week! I think you'd call it pastel!
I really love this little girl! She is one of a set of three, each one as cute as the other. I couldn't pick a favorite!
I usually like to paper-piece the dresses, but this time I just created a tiny pattern using a Copic marker.
Images: "Three for Tea" from Mo's Digital Pencil, Stamped sentiment from SU!
Tools: Cuttlebug with Nestibilities and Marianne dies, SU! Guava stamp pad, Nellie Snellen
embossing rose leaf punch set, mounting tape, Tacky tape
papers: SU! Guava and Vanilla, Neenah white, Digital DP
Embellishments: Satin ribbon, Flowers from WOC
I hope you'll join us this week in Mo's Challenge! Just use one or more of Mo's images
in your project and enter for a chance to win a $5.00 gift certificate to Mo's Digital Pencil.
Thanks for dropping in!
Elaine

Absolutely gorgeous Pat, love the image, well it is a Mo, so can't go wrong. Beautifully coloured, Kate x
ReplyDeleteSo cute and gorgeous, Elaine! And of course it's pastel! I would never dare to use salmon or coral for one of my cards. But when I look at yours I think I have to come out of my comfort zone and give it a try. Your card looks so beautifully girly!
