"D" is For.......
I love these alphabet challenges, don't you? It's fun to think of things that begin with the given letter and work them into a card or project.
I have several cards that fit the theme for this Mo's Challenge this week.
My first card uses Mo's image, "Darn It!" I printed and colored digital images of thread and scissors to use as embellishments for this fun image.
Inside: "Being sick is no fun! Hope you're soon on the mend!"
Images: "Darn It!" from Mo's Digital Pencil, Digital spool and scissors, Computer-generated sentiment
Tools: Copics, Prismacolor pencil, Sewing machine, Oval punches, Glue dots, Mounting tape, Paper crimper
Papers: SU! Only Orange, Summer Sun, Chocolate Chip, Light-weight cardboard, Neenah white
Embellishments: Assorted buttons

Of course, "D" is for dog, so I made this card for our grandson's thirteenth birthday
using Mo's image, "Just Tia", the sweetest Rotty ever!
Inside: "No bones about....you're a big dog now! Happy Birthday!"
Images: "Just Tia" from Mo's Digital Pencil, Digital bone image, Computer-generated sentiment
Tools: Copics, Prismacolor pencil, White gel pen, MS Border punch, Mounting tape
Papers: SU! Real Red, Chocolate Chip, Apricot, Neenah white, Basic Grey DP

"D" is for Dickens, too!
Inside: "Bless us...everyone! Merry Christmas!"
Image: "Tiny Tim and Bob Cratchit" from Mo's Digital Pencil Too (Mo's old store),
SU! snowflake stamps
Tools: Copics, Prismacolor pencils, Cuttlebug with Nesties, VersaMark pad, White embossing powder, White acrylic paint, Glitter
Papers: SU! Bashful Blue, Neenah white
Embellishments: 'Joy' charm, Beads, Satin Ribbon, Tiny rhinestones
Those are my "D" cards . Now let's see what you can come up with for things that start with "D" and enter Mo's Challenge for a chance to win a $5.00 gift certificate to Mo's Digital Pencil!
Love it when you visit!

Oh Elaine! No question about it...you are a master with clever sentiments!! I love 'em all!! You've been a busy little cardmaking elf, haven't you? I may have to make a few non-Christmas cards...just to be sure I still know how! hehe! Hugs. Pat Frank
ReplyDeleteWOW! Quite a collection you have here and their all wonderful. I love all the little sewing extras on the first card. The bones and sentiment on the second card are great, and the last card is just gorgeous. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteWow, you were on a roll, three cards with a "D" and all for a different occassion... Great job on all three.
